My New Niece's Room Reveal

My new niece is due to arrive next month. And being an aunt truly completes my heart. You have that special place for your own children and then there is that place in your heart that ya didn't even know you had....and that's where being an aunt fits!

So project baby girl just got underway. My sister was pretty indecisive on what decor she wanted. She liked some modern and some vintage looks. And that's where I came in! I knew I could make it happen. So I told her to start diggin out all her old house decor that she wasn't using anymore. A little spray paint and creativity and now her room is ready!

I measured and taped. And then used some cream colored paint that she had on hand.

The wall of randoms was a little of this and that. I threw together the fabric flowers. Spray painted some old picture and mirror frames she had. And the mirror in the center was a garage sale find I had, and I knew it would be a perfect for this wall.

If you want to see how these fabric flowers were made

These metal circle decorations were something she had. I spray painted them and voila!

This little antique dresser was a freebie. I first brushed painted a metallic paint and didn't like the way it looked. So we figured I would try this Rust-Oleum Metallic spray paint. And it turned out flawless!

This boat/bowl was an old coffee table decor she had. Spray painted it pink and now..it's can hold her hair ties.

I love this room! It's Modern and Vintage looking all in one! Total cost for my sister was less than $20! My sister was pretty nervous during the whole process. She just didn't have the "vision" until it was all put together and complete.

And the perfect little addition to this room was her brooch bouquet that I had made for her for my wedding.

If you want to see these brooch bouquets and more, come see our DIY Wedding HERE!.

And finally we found the final piece for her room!

 A Pink Chandelier!
