So everyone knows I love my pallets! And I'm always looking for some new ideas for things I can make outta pallet wood!
I scored this little beauty FREE! Because believe it or not you sometimes hafta buy these little guys. This one has been hanging in the garage for awhile because I just couldn't make up my mind on what I wanted to do. Well Husker season is approaching....
Ding! I needed new HUSKER YARD FLARE!!
Well since I do live in Nebraska and football here is like a religion.... The requests have came in for one! And no time to search for the mini lil guys. So I thought....why not take some scrap wood (I already have on hand) and create one or two...three?!
Scrap wood downfall.... your gonna hafta cut them to size.
These are screwed together. And they will stand on their own! No need for boards on the back, like a pallet does.
And here are a couple work in progress pallets!
In the Husker imagination station (aka garage)! Yes I do have alot of Husker flare in there. LOL
Anyone else out there have a DIY project that they have done for their favorite team?
Share em!
Don't forget to check out my-diy-patriotic-yard-decor out of a mini pallet too!
Thanks for STOPPIN!!

Hi Minette,
ReplyDeleteWhere do you find wood pallets? I have do idea where to even begin tracking one down.
So glad to meet you via SITS!
Thank YOU! I have a few friends that always keep their eyes out for pallets but I know you can go to your local grocery or hardware store and ask. Sometimes they will just give them away because they accumulate too many. Thanks for stopping by and checking things out!!
