Recued Wood

I gotta show you what I did with my rescued wood I got at Junkstock!!

I bought it from this guy (forgot his name) and he was with A&R Salvage and Recycling in Omaha NE. They salvage and dismantle old buildings among other things as well.

I ended up buying several pieces because really? Look at it....Beautiful! And as soon as I seen it I knew exactly what I was gonna do with it!
And actually alot of people saw me carrying this around and asked me where I got it and what I was gonna do with it.
Well.....

When I got home I took 2 pieces and nailed them together with some scrap lattice I had left over from another project.

And you can't really see in this pic below, but there is a Command Strip on the piece on lattice.

(And let me tell you these things are THE BEST!! Our walls are plaster and nails are not so friendly, unless you want a hole in your wall!!) Highly recommend!

And there you have it!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!

This is just one of the project pieces I bought at junkstock last weekend! Oh I've a few more up my sleeve, just you wait!!

Tell me what you might have done with it?? Because I DO have a few extra pieces!

Hey come check out what I got at the Fall Junkstock!
