Ol' Red

Ol' RED
Just wanted to share with ya another furniture redo! I had seen lots of red pieces and was itching to find the right piece to paint red! Well a garage sale drive by and seen this beauty!

I left the original hardware, because it was gorgeous!

A little distressing...

If only I had a bigger house... She didn't take long to sell. But now has a new home!

What a pretty girl Huh?!!

Next....The Kelly Green pieces I've been seeing. Totally dig em! But might be a little tricky selling one of those. I think ya hafta have the right eye to know it CAN go in your home and look good!

  1. This piece is gorgeous! I'm glad you kept the old hardware because it makes it look so much more authentic! I have an old chest of drawers that I think I am going to try staining red. Wish me luck!

  3. What a great piece, Shelly! I can understand your feelings about letting it go. Since we downsized I have much less room to fit furniture in and every piece I keep has to provide a function, too. I find it is hard sometimes to bring it to my booth to sell!
