I had found these old keys and many other great trinkets at Junk Stock Fall Show. I knew I was gonna do something for Christmas with them, but just wasn't real sure what at the time.
My boys were fascinated by these old keys. They went even as far as looking up the companies that were printed on some of them. In fact one of them was to a 1971 Camaro. Ok, how cool is that?!!
I dug out all my vintage jewelry and buttons. And pieced them to somewhat match. (As in metal colors, silver to silver, gold with gold)
I used whatever string I had on hand. And hot glued the key to the piece of jewelry.
They all just have there own unique look!
A fun new festive ornament!
I put these on one of my little trees, or what I call my "Charlie Brown Tree". It is the perfect sized ornament for that little tree.

I also love using keys in my jewelry making. Vintage skeleton keys are an absolute favourite.
