A Day In "The Good Life" Link-Up #1

Well my days all kind of start out different. I work full time at  a local hospital 3 days a week (12 hour shifts) in the Heart Monitoring Unit.

Those days start at an early 4:15am! Still dark outside, I roll outta the rack...aka bed and enjoy my delicious Dunkin Donuts coffee (its like an addiction). Have a little morning chat with the hubbs and I'm off! They are long work days, 6am-6:30pm.

My wonderful husband then gets our precious little angels ready to go to school (sarcasm, because it usually involves a brotherly morning tussle). Then he's off to work as well.

On the days I work, it sure don't leave much time to do anything. I don't usually get home till almost 7. And by then I'm usually spent!

But the days I don't work, you can usually find me in my maze of a cave (aka garage)!

Excuse the mess! I've been working my tail end off with projects! If I'm not in there, I'm cleaning our house. Boys are...can I say little piggies sometimes. LOL!

Then it's homework for the boys, and dinner time.

And on most days we talk on facetime with my nephew, because he has to see and talk to aunt TeeTee! Gosh that kid makes my heart big!

Then a little blog time and then the bed is usually calling my name.

Since I live in Nebraska and we get ALL FOUR SEASONS. It depends on what the season is and where you will find me on the weekends. Aside from the kids sports and activities throughout the year.

Football season.... you can find us at a garage party watching the BIG RED GAME!

Summer....

Swimming and enjoying the outdoors!

Spring.... Cleaning and Organizing!

Winter....well....

We attend the Duck Races in Avoca Ne in January! If you never been, its a must!

And that pretty much sums it up! That's my days and seasons in a nut shell!

    1. Sorry Kelsey, I must have missed this comment. ;( The duck races are held in Avoca NE every year, 3rd week in January. So some years it really really cold or the last few years it's been in the 30-40's. PERFECT!! It's actually a fundraiser for their fire dept for the year. You can go watch and walk around and meet some GREAT people from all over. Or you can choose to participate. It's cheap...like $15 to race and rent a duck for the day. Yes you can rent a duck! LOL Well unless you bring your own. It's an all day event! Tailgating, charter buses from surrounding states......crazy FUN!!

  4. Hey! I understand this is kind of off-topic however
I needed to ask. Does building a well-established blog such as yours take
a large amount of work? I'm brand new to blogging however I do write in my diary everyday. I'd like to start a
blog so I can share my own experience and feelings online.
Please let me know if you have any kind of suggestions or tips for brand new aspiring bloggers.
    Thankyou!
